Guitar Warm Ups
Why warm up before playing?
Warming up helps prepare both your body and your mind for playing guitar.
Prepare your body: Relaxing your hands and muscles helps you play more comfortably and makes it easier to notice unnecessary tension. The more relaxed you are, the easier it is to develop good technique.
Prepare your mind: A short warm-up also helps you settle into practice and focus your attention. Better concentration makes it easier to learn, remember and enjoy what you’re playing.

Guitar Care
Why wash your hands before playing?
Clean hands help keep your guitar strings, fretboard and finish in better condition. Taking a moment to wash and dry your hands before practising is a simple habit that can help your instrument stay clean and enjoyable to play for longer.
Learning to look after your guitar is part of learning the instrument — treating it with care helps it last.
